genapta Board Dr Julian White (CEO) provides wide-ranging expertise in optical fibre technology, electronics and micropositioning: as mechanical group leader with Xaar plc, he managed the team responsible for the design and integration of the Xaarjet XJ500 printhead. As Managing Director of OTM Ltd. (regional finalist 1999 DTI SMART Foresight award) he developed an optical thermometer for the silicon processing industry. He holds a B.Sc. from Manchester University and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Cambridge. Dr David Richards (CSO) is a Reader in Physics at King's College London, where he directs a research programme concerned with the development and application of novel high resolution optical microscopy techniques. He has published over 40 papers. David holds a MA in Physics and Theoretical Physics and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Cambridge. Mr William Matthews FCA (Director)is Fund Manager at the Cambridge University Challenge Fund, investors in genapta. He has over twenty years experience as a director of major companies and management consultancies. He holds a BA Economics.
